Thank you for your support of the Resnick Family's Gluten-Related Conditions Youth Support Group Initiative
Living with a chronic illness like celiac disease is difficult. For the more than one million youth affected, It can cause severe stress on families and other key relationships. It can contribute to a sense of social alienation, feelings of worthlessness, low self-esteem, anxiety and depression.
Founded by the Resnick Family, long-time CDF supporters, and in partnership with Children’s National Medical Center, the Gluten-Related Conditions Youth Support Group Initiative trains mental health professionals and CDF facilitators throughout the United States to effectively provide youth and their families with the skills necessary to cope with celiac disease and other gluten-related disorders.
